Polly is a rescued goat who lives in New Jersey. She is blind, severely underweight and has neurological problems. To make matters worse, she also suffers from severe anxiety – that is until her owner got her a duck costume. The child’s’ duck costume has helped Polly calm down. She went from anxious and stressed to chill and rather zen-like!
Leanne Lauricella runs the Goats of Anarchy rescue group in Annandale and found the costume at Marshall’s and thought it would make a cute Halloween picture. But, Leanne said that as soon as Leanne put the duck costume on, Polly instantly calmed down.
Before Polly had the costume, she would run around the house and cry very loud if she couldn’t find Leanne. Eventually, Polly would settle in a corner and suck on the wall. Leanne said all of the corners in her house now have little suck marks.
