I love seeing people finding ways to reuse objects that would otherwise be thrown away. Well, here’s a great way to create significantly less waste in your household. Most people replace their toothbrush every few months, and that means a new chunk of plastic ending up in a landfill.
Katrina from Katrinaosity didn’t like that thought, so she set about thinking up a way to make toothbrushes continually useful. And she did it. In the video below, you can learn how to turn your cheap plastic toothbrush into a cool new piece of jewelry. Just pull out the bristles, toss the handle into a pot of boiling water, and then (carefully!) twist into into a cuff shape.

Yep, now you’ve got a neat new bracelet that you can show off to people (who will then hopefully do the same thing), and the world has one less non-biodegradable chunk of plastic floating through it. Perfect! Share away, people!
